Vidya Balan turns into a sex kitten for director Milan Luthria’s film Dirty Picture, based on the life of the south siren Silk Smitha. The first look of the film shows Vidya dressed in a red blouse and a colourful wrap-around, posing coquettishly as she nibbles her thumbnail.

In case you are wondering why Vidya would take on a role that’s so unlike her real personality, Vidya says that’s where the whole challenge lies. Vidya says she is inspired from the Hollywood actress Bette Davis who played an interesting variety of roles in her acting career.
